Abstract:X-section cast-in-situ pile (referred to as XCC pile), which is one of new type pile, can improve pile shaft friction, and save concrete usage comparing with traditional circular pile. However, the studies focused on the sliding stability of this new pile type was relatively little. Base on the landslide disaster treatment of Taishan gate dikes pumping station, finite element numerical simulation model for XCC pile and traditional circular pile were built by Plaxis software. The sliding stabilities and vertical bearing capacities of these two treatment methods were comparative analyzed. The treatment costs were also comparative discussed. The results show that, in this case, the vertical bearing capacity of XCC pile can be improved nearly 2 times than that of traditional circular pile, the sliding stability of XCC pile can be improved nearly 1.1 times than that of traditional circular pile; The cost of XCC pile can save nearly 4 %; the settlement control effect improves nearly 11-17 %.
