On October 13, 2023, the 7th International Conference of Bionic Engineering was held at the Wuhan Eurasian Convention and Exhibition International Center. Two members of the research group, Zhang Zhiyuan and Wang Xuanyao, participated in this academic conference.

This meeting invited several renowned professors in the field of surface engineering, such as Professor Deng Xu from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Professor Wang Diankai from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Professor GLen McHale from the University of Edinburgh. Intended to discuss the most advanced work progress in the field of biomimetics.
